Job Overview

Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Shift/Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Compensation: $16.00 per hour

Position Summary: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing various tasks associated with the precise and prompt shipment and receipt of merchandise. This includes the consolidation of stored products and the replenishment of picking locations, alongside essential warehouse operations such as order fulfillment, loading and unloading of trucks, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and accurately unload trailers, confirm the accuracy of loads, and prepare items for storage.
  • Retrieve orders from designated warehouse locations and employ conveyor systems for sorting and staging.
  • Manually load semi-trucks and smaller delivery vehicles in accordance with delivery specifications.
  • May be required to operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and clamper attachments.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) tools, including scan guns, to maintain accurate inventory levels and proper placement of goods.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counting as needed.
  • Engage with team members during shift transitions and frequently interact with delivery personnel and receiving teams.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Upon transition to full-time employment, obtaining power equipment certification is required.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 35-48 lbs and occasionally maneuver items weighing up to 100 lbs.
