Job Summary

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, availability, and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of network security systems, firewalls, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN gateways.
  • Maintain the company's network and voice infrastructure, ensuring connectivity throughout the LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, or 3rd parties to coordinate the implementation of secure connectivity.
  • Respond to technical assistance requests from users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on system and application usage.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of network infrastructure, user accounts, and system backups.
  • Provide regular reports to management on network performance, availability, and security.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7+ years of hands-on experience as an Infrastructure engineer.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and administering SD-WAN technology, Cisco CCNA or CCNP preferred.
  • Experience with Multi-Vendor Networking, including Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki, Azure, AWS, GCP, Palo Alto, and Juniper.
  • Deep understanding of SD-WAN, BGP, OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, VLAN's and Multi-layer switching.
  • Data Center Administration and Deployment.
  • Ability to perform capacity and resource planning, assess risks, recommend, design, and implement plans for network systems.
  • Working knowledge of network security systems, firewalls, applications, procedures, and techniques.
