About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and optimization of our Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments, including setup, configuration, and ongoing administration.
  • Optimize Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops performance and scalability to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops infrastructure components, including Citrix Delivery Controllers, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Cloud Connectors, Citrix NetScaler (VDC), and Citrix VDAs (TS).
Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops/Virtualization environments, with a strong background in setup, configuration, administration, and optimization.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in troubleshooting complex Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops issues and providing high-level customer support.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops deployments and projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Citrix Cloud Connectors, Citrix NetScaler (VDC), Citrix StoreFront, and Citrix VDAs (TS).
  • Strong understanding of related technologies, such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server.
  • Proficient in networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and load balancing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced certifications (e.g., Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
