Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and administer assessment tools to evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Identify and prioritize functional goals for remediation, compensation, adaptation, or prevention of deficits.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment methods to promote patient progress and independence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assist in training others, including staff, COTAs, aides, and students, to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • NJ State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Maintained registration by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
  • AHA BLS Provider Certification.
  • Twelve-week pediatric affiliation or pediatric experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
