Job Summary:

Black Hills Works is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating initial and ongoing assessments, developing programs to enhance community integration, and providing training and consultation to non-medical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide information and assist team in developing programs to enhance an individual's community integration.
  • Provide training and consultation to non-medical personnel.
  • Complete infection Control Program for the agency, maintaining logs and making recommendations as required to assure high standards of safety.
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and refer to HAC (Health Appointment Coordinator) to schedule.
  • Administer first aid or referral for first aid as necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of health information.

Requirements:
  • Current nursing licensure in South Dakota.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Clean background check and drug screen.
