Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the registered nurse to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for optimal care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
  • IV Certification required.
  • One (1) year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Three (3) years medical/surgical experience preferred.
  • Ability to project a professional image and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
