Job Overview

Belkorp Ag is seeking a skilled Agricultural Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for assembling and servicing various types of equipment, including established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assemble and service equipment, including AMS products, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required for the set-up and delivery process.
  3. Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
  4. Participate in on-call programs to ensure prompt response to customer needs.
  5. Account for time and materials used in performing assigned duties.
  6. Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
  7. Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  8. Maintain current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to customer accounts.
  9. Never operate equipment without proper training and inspection.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. 4-7 years of experience performing service repairs.
  2. Knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment, as well as technology trends and advancements.
  3. Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  4. Ability to maintain labor performance and billable hours according to Service Leaders.
  5. Sound knowledge of engines, hydraulics, power-trans, air-conditioning, and electrical systems as they apply to machines marketed by the dealership.
