Position Summary:

The IT Support Specialist plays a crucial role in addressing initial IT troubleshooting inquiries from associates across the organization. This position demands a commitment to delivering outstanding service, ensuring that internal customers receive the support they need, even in challenging situations. The specialist will engage with various technologies, both hardware and software, on a daily basis.

Moreover, this role requires participation in an on-call rotation approximately every three weeks, covering evening and weekend hours, with additional compensation for on-call shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and proactively to all IT-related phone calls and emails.
  • Open support tickets, resolve issues, or escalate as necessary.
  • Assist customers with urgency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT team members to fulfill customer requests.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office and Windows.
  • Ability to think critically and work collaboratively to achieve effective solutions.
  • Friendly and professional phone etiquette.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of managing unexpected challenges.
  • Sound decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
