Perioperative Registered Nurse

The Perioperative Registered Nurse is a critical member of the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital team, responsible for providing exceptional preoperative care to patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic procedures. This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can assess, plan, and implement effective nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs prior to surgery
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address specific patient requirements
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Current California RN License
- Graduate from a school of nursing with either ADN or BSN degree (BSN preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an acute care hospital's operating room
- Current ACLS and BLS Certifications from the American Heart Association & NIHSS/Stroke Scale Certification
- CNOR certification preferred
- Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Familiarity with and experience with EMR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Estimated pay: $55.00 to $63.35 per hour based on qualifications
