We currently have an opening for a qualified Advanced Practice Clinician to join our Risk Adjustment division. We are looking for clinicians who prioritize patient care over volume, taking the necessary time to address each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locations: Various healthcare facilities within the designated service area
  • Conduct senior wellness assessments at company-operated outpatient centers and affiliated physician offices, along with some home visits
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Average Patient Load: Up to 16 patients daily
  • New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive training

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution and/or relevant professional certification
  • Completion certificate from an accredited Advanced Practice Clinician Program
  • Unrestricted Advanced Practice Clinician license in California
  • Current certification from AANP/ANCC/NCCPA
  • California DEA certificate required prior to employment
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Strong patient care and time management abilities
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC)
  • At least one year of experience in a managed care setting
  • Proficiency in Medical Spanish is a plus

Compensation Information: The salary range for this position is competitive and based on various factors, including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group adheres to all applicable wage laws. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, and retirement contributions, all subject to eligibility criteria.
