Radiology Tech Full Time Days Position Summary

  • Provide high-quality radiographic examinations for patients of all ages using advanced diagnostic imaging modalities.
  • Assess patient condition, operate imaging equipment, and maintain proficiency in Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
  • Maintain examination rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Technologists are required to maintain accurate patient records and participate in the departmental performance improvement program.
  • They also function as clinical instructors for students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program.
  • Quality assurance (QA) management is an essential aspect of this role, with knowledge of PACS to cover the PACS Administrator in their absence.


Requirements

Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology school with an associate degree or equivalent.

Experience:
Minimum one year as an accredited technologist in a hospital setting, with experience in Quality Assurance preferred.

Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, and South Carolina Radiologic Technologist Registration (SCRQSA) license required.
