We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Surgicare of South Austin, a leading ambulatory surgery center.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Oversee instrument and equipment setup for each OR, utilizing preference cards and anticipating surgeons' needs.\
  • Circulate during surgical procedures, ensuring effective and efficient transitions between cases.\
  • Coordinate patient care, including medication management and anesthesia assistance.\
  • Utilize proper body mechanics when moving patients to prevent injury.\
  • Review charts for completeness, adhering to documentation protocols before and after surgeries.\\/ul>\

Requirements:

  • \
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.\
  • Active RN license required, with valid BCLS certification upon employment. ACLS certification also necessary.\
  • CNOR certification is highly desirable.\\/ul>\
