Position Overview
As a SAS Solutions Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of SAS products within both Quality Assurance and Production environments. Your expertise will contribute to the following SAS products:
  • SAS Enterprise Miner
  • SAS Text Miner
  • SAS Office Analytics
  • SAS Sentiment Analysis

Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support for the SAS Data Analytics Platform (DAP) and its associated products.
• Define and establish work environments tailored for various client engagements utilizing the SAS Application platform.
• Collaborate with clients to identify and articulate project security, data, and operational requirements.
• Automate administrative tasks through shell scripting and SAS Base programming to enhance efficiency and minimize manual efforts.
• Execute ad hoc and annual patches/upgrades to maintain the SAS platform's compliance with application and security standards.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a SAS Administrator, proficient in SAS products across Windows/Linux platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in configuring user controls, access logic, and troubleshooting data access issues.
• Familiarity with various SAS servers and adeptness in resolving potential configuration challenges.
• Proven expertise in managing SAS Application and Operating System security, including SAS Configuration Files, process planning, and scheduling, as well as integration with Active Directory Authentication.
• Experience in managing a multi-tier SAS platform, specifically with products under the SAS Data Analytics Platform (DAP), including SAS EG, EM, Text Miner Forecaster, Model Manager, and Visual Analytics on Viya.
• Hands-on experience with SAS Base programming is highly preferred.
