Pilgrim's, a leading poultry producer, is seeking an experienced Cage Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for implementing and performing preventative maintenance on equipment or facilities in the plant & live areas.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled individual with experience in industrial mechanics to perform day-to-day maintenance and repair on cages and other equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, observe and test system operation, and adjust or replace worn or defective mechanisms and parts.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in industrial mechanics, preferably in a food industry environment
  • Welding and cutting experience required
  • Ability to work in extreme heat and cold conditions
  • Good physical stamina, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring ability to climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and work in wet and humid conditions. The noise level is usually loud.
