Job Description

The Clinical Trainer - Medical Assistant (MA) will provide training to identified clinical staff on appropriate practices in patient examination and assisting providers. The trainer will also assist with patient education and serve as a lead medical assistant by epitomizing best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of practical medical assisting experience and certification in a relevant field such as CMA-AAMA, NCMA-NCTT, BCLS, or AMCA-CMAC. They will also be familiar with EMR software, PCMH standards, and quality metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Provides training to clinical staff on best practices in patient examination and assisting providers
  • Assists with patient education and provides valuable information to supervisors for employee performance evaluations
  • Maintains OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance
  • Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patient and equipment for treatment
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • 1 year of practical medical assisting experience
  • Certification in a relevant field such as CMA-AAMA, NCMA-NCTT, BCLS, or AMCA-CMAC
  • Familiarity with EMR software, PCMH standards, and quality metrics
About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 7a-7p, with hours varying. The role involves traveling to multiple locations to cover various practices.
