About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Dishwasher/Prep to join our team at Sterling Culinary Management. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and world-class hospitality to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and sanitation procedures are maintained at all times.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of food products, including cutting, slicing, and unwrapping ingredients, as well as mixing and assembling recipe ingredients.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including dish machines, and maintain the dish station to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitizing of silverware, plateware, and glasses.
  • Collaborate with the chef and other team members to ensure seamless communication and execution of daily tasks and events.
  • Participate in the evaluation of on-hand par levels and completion of daily prep lists to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Monitor and adjust the temperature of equipment to ensure food is cooked and stored at the proper temperature.
Requirements
  • Be authorized to work in the US.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Possess basic computational ability.
  • Be able to taste food and beverage offerings to understand flavor profiles and support preparation of items as necessary.
  • Be able to memorize and replicate food production procedures.
  • Be able to read prep and service recipes.
