You will spearhead the Pre-Silicon platform for next-generation cellular System on Chips (SoCs). In this capacity, you will evaluate hardware modifications on the simulation platform, engage in discussions with software and firmware teams to finalize requirements, participate in virtual platform design reviews, drive execution with the team, negotiate timelines with stakeholders, and communicate progress effectively.
A comprehensive understanding of CPU subsystems, SoC architecture, and wireless systems is essential. Familiarity with SystemC or similar tools and the ability to collaborate with various teams are advantageous.Key Qualifications: As the engineering manager of the Settings team, your duties will encompass: recruiting and developing direct reports; prioritizing team tasks; representing the team's contributions within broader initiatives; and influencing partners to achieve significant outcomes.
Assessing the new SoC architecture and determining its impact on the simulation platform, while collaborating with various software and firmware teams to gather pre-silicon platform requirements.
Grasping co-simulation designs, reviewing integration strategies, understanding scheduling between different simulators, and providing timely feedback to the team.You will monitor project status and deliverables, clearly communicate updates to leadership and cross-functional partners, and balance high-quality product delivery under stringent timelines.
You will collaborate with software and firmware teams to gather pre-silicon requirements, develop a schedule, and negotiate timelines with stakeholders.Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits: At Apple, base pay is one component of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role.
The base pay range for this position is between $181,000 and $313,000, and your base pay will be influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
