Job Title: Electrical Apprentice

At A/Z Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist a Licensed Electrician with the installation, maintenance, and inspection of electrical systems and associated processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and control apparatus.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble electrical conduit using various tools.
  • Oversee or participate in wire installation with conduit and cable trays.
  • Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.
  • Test continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components.
  • Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of field experience, trade school, or apprenticeship.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Understanding of and strict adherence to daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
  • Appropriate state certification or license.
  • OSHA 10 certification.

The physical demands include the ability to perform tasks in all aspects of construction sites, climb ladders, crawl as needed, work from aerial lifts, and lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs.

The work environment includes GMP - Aseptic and non-Aseptic Areas and Non GMP Area - Offices spaces.
