Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice

The University of Tampa invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice. This is a full-time, non-tenure track instructional faculty position, renewable annually. The successful candidate will be expected to teach four classes per semester and contribute to the department's academic programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach introductory level criminology and criminal justice courses, as well as core courses
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of diverse student populations
- Contribute to the department's research and scholarship initiatives
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
Applicants must demonstrate a record of excellence in teaching at the college level. A terminal degree in criminology or criminal justice or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
Preferred QualificationsExperience teaching courts courses and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are preferred.
