Job Title: Assistant Professor in Psychology

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor in Psychology to join our faculty at the University of Tampa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory courses, including general psychology and research methods, as well as lower and upper-level classes in their specialty.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach 12 hours per semester, typically three, 4-hour courses each semester
  • Advise students, serve on committees, and maintain an active record of scholarship
  • Contribute to the diversity of our curriculum and community
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Psychology
  • Interest in teaching introductory courses and lower and upper-level classes in their specialty
  • Experience with mentoring undergraduate research
  • College or university teaching experience and demonstrated scholarly activity in the field
