Overview

Spencer Dental and Braces, a Benevis company, is seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Presenting comprehensive treatment plans and providing estimates of costs in a clear and effective manner.
  • Educating patients on the Orthodontist's treatment plan after diagnosis and review by clinical staff.
  • Collections tracking, monitoring, and follow-up as needed.
  • Explaining and promoting company payment policies and procedures.
  • OBTAINING HIGH TREATMENT ACCEPTANCE BY EXPLAINING COSTS, INSURANCE COVERAGE, AND FINANCE OPTIONS.
  • Soliciting referrals from satisfied patients while tracking their satisfaction with work provided.
  • Contacting patients/guarantors prior to appointments to confirm fees due and appointment details.
  • Performing tasks with the highest integrity by adhering to government regulations, company standards, and compliance programs.
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED Equivalent Required.
  • Minimum 1+ years experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in another practice is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of customer service experience preferred.
  • X-ray certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment planning.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to articulate techniques used in Orthodontic field, treatment plan presentations highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental insurances, service limits, PPO, Self Pay collections, and financing options.
  • Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.
