We are currently in search of a Cash Management Consultant who will play a pivotal role in delivering highly customized client service experiences aimed at achieving swift resolutions. This role serves as the primary contact for all commercial clients utilizing our cash management services, assisting with intricate solutions and the ongoing support of cash management offerings, as well as overseeing the setup and maintenance of both existing and new services.
Furthermore, this position will provide direct support, addressing both general and technical inquiries via phone or email related to cash management products and commercial deposit accounts. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to empathize with clients and be driven to achieve outcomes through teamwork and collaboration, while also demonstrating a proactive approach to personal development and learning with a positive growth mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with internal teams and external clients.
- Collaborate with the entire Cash Management Team to ensure prompt and courteous service for all clients.
- Engage directly with clients via phone, in person, or email to resolve issues related to commercial products or services, guiding them to successful outcomes.
- Adhere to American Bank's policies and procedures, particularly in managing risks associated with client transactions and the use of advanced cash management products.
- Authenticate customer identities and their authorization to act on behalf of accounts prior to any changes or releases of account information, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Partner with the Cash Management Onboarding team to set up services.
- Assist in the mapping and testing of cash management products and services, including ACH, Positive Pay, Account Reconciliation, and various digital deposit options.
- Utilize effective time management to fulfill CRM requests and respond promptly to time-sensitive communications.
- Provide feedback to the Cash Management Sales & Onboarding team and, when necessary, the Relationship Manager regarding client concerns.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of American Bank's product offerings, proficient in both commercial and retail services.
- Conduct client training sessions for all cash management products and services.
- As a member of the Cash Management Support team, distribute annual self-assessment questionnaires to clients and conduct annual risk reviews related to cash management exposure.
- Prepare correspondence for clients, ensuring secure email is utilized when necessary.
- Serve as the primary support for all inquiries related to cash management and understand how these products complement other offerings for referrals to Cash Management Sales.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure new clients are established as agreed and that maintenance of existing clients is accurate.
- Maintain internal spreadsheets for Cash Management Support.
- Process monthly reports as requested, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Experience
- Prior client interaction experience is essential.
- Experience in the banking sector is required.
- Familiarity with cash management and deposit operations is preferred.
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is advantageous.
- Sales experience or training is preferred.
Qualifications
- Proficient in computer hardware and software, including word processing (preferably Word), spreadsheets (preferably Excel), and email applications (Microsoft Outlook preferred).
- Ability to operate office equipment such as telephones, copiers, and faxes.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to compose professional correspondence with excellent grammar and spelling.
- Experience in client interaction, both internal and external.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Reliable transportation for potential travel to client locations.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two or more years of college education is preferred.
