Role Overview:

  • Implement the annual audit strategy: Participate in independent and objective assurance activities in line with departmental and professional standards.
  • Ensure effective governance: Validate that risk management, control, and governance systems are operating effectively to achieve organizational goals.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments: Review the implementation of corrective measures and assess the success of remediation efforts.
  • Track audit findings: Maintain oversight of internal audit issues and execute necessary follow-up actions.
  • Commit to professional growth: Engage in ongoing education through training and professional organization memberships.
  • Participate in additional initiatives: Undertake other projects as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background: A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, information systems, or a related discipline is required.
  • Knowledge of frameworks: Familiarity with Committee of Sponsoring Organizations and National Institute of Standards and Technology control frameworks is preferred.
  • Professional certifications: Progress towards CPA, CIA, CPCU, and/or AIAF designations is advantageous.

Salary Range: $65,750 - $75,750 based on experience.
