Job Summary:

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to adult and child members, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental health needs, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services, to members in need.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses, using evidence-based practices and the latest research methods.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and social service agencies to ensure members receive comprehensive care.
  • Participate in staff conferences and departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with the Couples and Families Endorsement.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health, as well as evidence-based practices and psychotherapy research methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team in an outpatient or inpatient setting/program under licensed supervision.
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity, as well as a commitment to quality of service, teamwork, and participation in a highly interactive multidisciplinary clinic.
