Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in storage administration, with a focus on IBM Z storage systems

  • Thorough knowledge of HCD in large-scale enterprise environments with multiple CECs
  • Experience with Brocade SAN equipment and associated management tools
  • Knowledge of dataset structures, including PDS, PDSE, GDG, and VSAM
  • Experience administering DFSMS policies and constructs
  • Knowledge and experience with IBM Flashcopy process
  • Knowledge of FDR/ABR and DFDSS
  • Experience with CA1 Tape Management Software
  • Experience with TDMF
  • Proficiency in coding languages, including Assembler, Automation, GDPS, Rexx, and CLIST
  • Proficiency in security software tools, including RACF and ACF2, and performance monitoring using Omegamon RMF, SMF, and SAS
