Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution Center Clerk to join our team at Mercy Health System. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process shipments, verifying documentation and ensuring accurate delivery of packages
  • Deliver routine supplies and special order items to designated areas, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Properly stock inventory on stockroom shelves, adhering to inventory management procedures
  • Pack and ship returned supplies, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Expedites medical supplies or refrigerated items that are time sensitive, ensuring timely delivery
  • Work independently to establish and prioritize workflow of loading/shipping area, meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Process returns from clinics, ensuring accurate and timely processing

Requirements
  • Graduate of high school or equivalent
  • Certification and Licensure: For those driving Mercyhealth vehicles, maintain a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy
  • Skills and Abilities: Good interpersonal/communication skills, ability to work pallet jacks, tools, and other equipment, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
