Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients, taking into account their age, culture, and social considerations.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, using evidence-based practices and departmental educational materials.
- Assess patients' nutrition needs and develop plans to address them, using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, following organizational and regulatory policies.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to the development of quality practice guidelines.
- Commission on Dietetic Registration/Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (A.N.D) registered or registration eligible.
- Minnesota State Licensure from the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice.
- Up to one year of experience as a clinical dietitian in non-specialty practice areas, or one to two years of experience in specialty practice areas.
