Key Responsibilities- Develop and supervise the RN Navigation team and infrastructure to meet objectives of all niche programs within the department.
- Assume responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization.
- Supervise, assess, plan, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate patient care and staff development.
- Provide direct patient care according to needs of the program.
- Assist in the development and implementation of department operating procedures for the program.
- Oversee administrative issues to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and customer service.
- Represent the program in communicating with various key stakeholders throughout the network.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Program and other HonorHealth departments.
- Design, implement, and manage a system for organizing, planning, and controlling workflow for the program.
- Develop and implement departmental processes in collaboration with the Network RN Navigation Program Directors.
- Manage day-to-day operational needs of the department throughout the network, including staffing, training, care coordination, and navigation programmatic development.
- Interview, select, and recommend hiring of personnel.
- Initiate recommendations for changes in classification, salary action, promotion, demotion, transfer, and termination.
- Administer performance evaluation in collaboration with the Manager.
- Evaluate utilization and availability of equipment, supplies, and space.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited NLN/CCNE institution.
- 3 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
- 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in a specialty (i.e. Cardiovascular or Patient Navigation).
- Registered Nurse (RN) State And/Or Compact State Licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
