Pilot Plant Production Manager

Conestoga Energy Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead innovative production processes in the energy sector. Located in Liberal, Kansas, this onsite role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a flexible and forward-thinking culture.

As a seasoned manager, you will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant operations and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures. You will communicate regularly with management to align plant objectives, monitor operational adjustments to meet production goals, and uphold quality control standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the production process from biomass to ultra-low carbon renewable ethanol
  • Representing ownership during the EPC process, driving innovation in sustainable fuel production
  • Overseeing a dedicated team, ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant operations
  • Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and communicating with management to align plant objectives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in the operations of an ethanol plant
  • 5-10 years production/plant management experience
  • Strong knowledge of the ethanol production process and technology
  • Knowledge of enzymes, yeasts, and other chemicals used in the ethanol process
  • Understanding of the distillation process and continuous production
