Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Steward Health Care is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using diagnostic equipment, preparing radio-pharmaceuticals, and conducting quality control procedures under the direction of a nuclear medicine physician.
Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures using diagnostic equipment, including gamma cameras and other imaging devices.
- Prepare radio-pharmaceuticals, including drawing up doses and conducting quality control procedures.
- Conduct quality control procedures, including daily, weekly, and monthly checks of imaging equipment.
- Assist in patient therapy, including administering radioactive materials and conducting follow-up procedures.
- Order and receive shipments of radioactivity, including packing and unpacking generators.
- 2-year degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field.
- Nuclear medicine school internship.
- Massachusetts State License.
- National Registry ARRT or CNMT.
