The Sales Development Specialist will be tasked with all necessary activities to cultivate leads and arrange appointments (demos) from our designated list of contacts/accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Execute regular outbound phone outreach to educational institutions and districts, making approximately 150 calls daily. Experiment with various messaging strategies and techniques to enhance demo scheduling and completion rates.
  • Product Information: Provide potential clients with essential product details and respond to inquiries prior to scheduling a demo.
  • Demo Scheduling: Coordinate appointments with prospective clients, ensuring to supply necessary supporting materials.
  • Support Sales Efforts: Collaborate closely with the Account Executive or Field Sales Executive in your assigned area to assist in achieving territory objectives.
  • Professional Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and honesty as a representative of our organization, adhering to our company policies.
  • Project Assistance: Aid management with various projects that align with the company’s overarching goals.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales support within SaaS, edtech, or a similar inside sales environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively and persuasively while understanding the audience.
  • Proficient in prospecting through diverse channels, including emails, phone calls, events, and in-person presentations.
  • Strong organizational abilities that ensure the timely completion of daily tasks and achievement of objectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with a remarkable product that you can confidently promote.
  • A demonstrated history of sales achievements.
  • Experience in supporting sales within SaaS, Edtech, or a similar inside sales organization is advantageous.
