Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of our food-service employees and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Quality Customer Service: Provide one-on-one attention to detail and ensure that our customers receive a high level of service.
  • Oversee Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in accordance with company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Help plan menus and ensure that they are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Staff Management: Train employees, assign and coordinate work, and promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Direct and participate in the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and employees in accordance with company standards and government regulations.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Use proper systems for completion of required daily/weekly/monthly reports, including inventory-cash reports, production records, payroll, and time-keeping.
Requirements:
  • Previous Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food service is preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and train employees.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and employees.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
