About the Job

ACO, Inc. is offering a part-time, paid internship opportunity for a Software Development Engineer to join our team.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement web applications using React.js and JavaScript.
  • Assist in automating tasks and processes using C# and VB.NET.
  • Work with CAD software to support automation and integration into web applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks, gaining experience in full-stack development.
  • Work on the integration of CAD tools with custom-built software solutions.
  • Document code, processes, and provide support for the deployment of applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of programming languages such as React.js, JavaScript, C#, and VB.NET.
  • Familiarity with web development concepts including HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
  • Basic experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and its integration into software solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of automation principles and experience with scripting or automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
