Physician Assistant Job in Houston, Texas

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care.

About the Job

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend shifts. You will be based at Memorial City Hospital, where you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapies, to help patients achieve optimal recovery and mobility.
Requirements

Education and Certification: Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program, current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, and Basic Life Support certification.

Experience: At least two (2) years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, or completion of an accredited residency program.

Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, fine hand dexterity, and visual ability to monitor instruments and equipment.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
