Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support and direction for daily financial operations, fostering a culture of financial awareness across the organization.
  • Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for enhancements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services.
  • Authorize daily financial expenditures, including accounts payable and employee expenses, to maintain alignment with the established Business Plan.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis reports in collaboration with the Accounting Manager, ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
  • Compile all necessary documentation and information for external auditors during the annual financial statement process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and review of P&L accounts as part of the month-end close and as requested by management for cost evaluation.
  • Oversee the complete month-end closing process, including the review and posting of journal entries and ensuring accurate reporting within company deadlines.
  • Prepare all required monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules, obtaining necessary approvals and meeting filing deadlines set by the Corporate Consolidation team.
  • Monitor and review reconciliations to ensure adherence to internal procedures and timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Manage statutory filing requirements specific to the country.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, conducting interviews to maintain optimal staffing levels and support employee development.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Native German speaker with fluency in English.
  • Finalist in a recognized Professional Body (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or ACA) is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
