The Project Manager is essential in nurturing client relationships through effective communication while demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive project timeline that details all stages of the project from inception to completion.
  • Lead and guide the project team to ensure that objectives are achieved.
  • Encourage communication among team members and stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned.
  • Recognize potential risks and formulate strategies to address them.
  • Continuously monitor and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
  • Oversee project finances to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Maintain current contract documentation.
  • Manage the submittal process, including the schedule and log.
  • Co-Chair and facilitate regular coordination meetings with owners and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the Request for Information (RFI) process and maintain logs.
  • Collaborate with the superintendent to ensure compliance with safety protocols on-site to protect workers and the public.
  • Oversee the project closeout process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in general contracting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and proactive in approach.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Project, and Bluebeam is preferred.
