We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Michelin North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
- Repair and replace mechanical components, such as pumps, motors, and gearboxes
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or technical certification preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical repair role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
