Healthcare Customer Service Representative

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience and building strong relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and manage a high volume of incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers, providing accurate and timely information.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Assist patients with insurance claims and billing inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
Update and maintain accurate patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
Provide information on services, procedures, and healthcare policies, ensuring patients are well-informed and empowered.
Resolve patient concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency via phone and email, escalating issues as necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Intermediate in MS Office, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, maintaining confidentiality and data protection protocols.
40 hours per week.
Monday-Friday.
8:00am-5:00pm PST.
No overtime hours.
Competitive hourly rate of $23.00.
