Job Summary:

The Constant Observer role at Bothwell Regional Health Center is a vital position that requires a dedicated individual to ensure patient safety and well-being. As a Constant Observer, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist with patient monitoring and provide a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The Constant Observer will be responsible for observing patients at all times, recording written observations and interventions, and reporting to nursing staff. This includes:

1. Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients
2. Assisting with patient care and activities of daily living
3. Accompanying patients during treatments and diagnostic testing
4. Fostering teamwork and promoting a positive attitude among staff
5. Recognizing and responding to patient safety concerns

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a High School diploma or equivalent, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification. You will also need to be able to work effectively with patients, families, and staff, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
