Electrophysiology Technician Job Description

We are seeking an ambitious Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:
  • Scrubs with physicians and circulates on all cath lab procedures, including prepping, sterile procedures, and interventional technology, within scope of practice and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implements daily and weekly QA and maintenance procedures on all specified cardiac cath equipment according to established policies and procedures.
  • Utilizes all appropriate equipment and supplies according to established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, or related field.
  • 2 years of Electrophysiology experience with knowledge of EP and Ablation devices.
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) licensure.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) training.
