Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and staff, and maintaining accurate records of donor information.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering their questions and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate records of donor information.
- Operate and maintain state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors and the quality of the plasma collected.
- Work collaboratively with our management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Ensure a clean and professional work environment, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
