Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the operations of the grooming salon, achieving targeted goals and driving results to grow the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the salon, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.
  • Train and coach staff to enhance their skills and performance, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all pet parents and their dogs, ensuring a positive experience and building loyalty.
  • Drive salon growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and community engagement.
  • Lead and manage the salon team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of animals, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Operate and maintain grooming tools and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Manage records and documentation, including pet client information and vaccination records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in pet grooming or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and merchandise, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in operating store equipment.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions

The working environment is favorable, with moderate noise levels and adequate lighting and temperature. The salon is equipped with modern tools and equipment, and team members are expected to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Physical Requirements

This position requires a non-sedentary work environment, with the ability to move quickly and safely throughout the salon and outdoor areas. Team members must be able to lift and move equipment and merchandise, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
