We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Optometrist to join our team at the West Virginia University Health System. As a Glaucoma Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a diverse patient population. You will have the chance to work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of our ophthalmology department.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment in the areas of Optometry with a specialty focus in Glaucoma
- Work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
- Participate in the teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to the development of our ophthalmology department and participate in research initiatives
To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Optometry or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state optometry license. A fellowship in Glaucoma is preferred, and candidates must be board certified/eligible.
