We are seeking an experienced Optometrist specializing in Glaucoma to join our team at the West Virginia University Health System. As a key member of our Ophthalmology department, you will provide exceptional patient care, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to our research program.
Key Responsibilities- Practice Optometry with a specialty focus in Glaucoma
- Work within a team-based care model to provide comprehensive patient care
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences
- Contribute to the research program in Glaucoma and other areas of Ophthalmology
- Doctor of Optometry degree or foreign equivalent
- Eligibility to obtain a state optometry license
- Board certification or eligibility in Optometry
- Preferred: Fellowship in Glaucoma
