Job Overview

Mountain West Corral, Inc. dba Golden Corral is seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team.

The Meat Cutter plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and quantity of meat products, directly impacting the guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards.
  • Implement the buffet production system to maintain quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness.
  • Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and any other meat to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Recognize and address spoiled meat.
  • Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Follow local health department laws and regulations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Utilize administration forms to maintain an inventory of all meat products and determine production levels.
  • Notify the Manager of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
  • Perform opening and closing administrative procedures.
  • Properly maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual.
  • Complete duty roster tasks.
