  • Operate balers to compress loose materials into compact bales, optimizing storage space and waste management.
  • Conduct thorough pre-operation checks on all equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery in excellent working condition.
  • Assist mechanics and service technicians with minor repairs and overhauls, contributing to the smooth functioning of our equipment fleet.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and current forklift certification are essential requirements for this position.
  • Three to five years of proven experience operating forklifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment is highly desired.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong understanding of occupational hazards associated with heavy machinery operation and a commitment to safety protocols are crucial.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
