Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $24.50 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in the oil and gas industry, especially with swellable packers. As a Downhole Tool Fabricator, you will work in a climate-controlled warehouse from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. Your primary responsibilities will include building, testing, assembling, and maintaining equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

You will work with set screws, end rings, and other components using high-tech machinery, welding equipment, and specialized materials. Additionally, you will read blueprints and use a tape measure to ensure accuracy and precision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry, especially with swellable packers, is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, metallurgy, and sometimes electronics is necessary.
