Volt Workforce Solution is seeking a skilled Downhole Tool Fabricator to join our team.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that involves working in a climate-controlled warehouse from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break.

As a Downhole Tool Fabricator, you will be responsible for building, testing, assembling, and maintaining equipment used in the oil and gas industry.

You will work with set screws, end rings, and other components, using high-tech machinery, welding equipment, and specialized materials to fabricate and test tools.

In addition, you will read blueprints and use a tape measure to ensure accuracy and precision in your work.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, test, assemble, and maintain equipment used in the oil and gas industry.
  • Work with set screws, end rings, and other components.
  • Use high-tech machinery, welding equipment, and specialized materials to fabricate and test tools.
  • Read blueprints and use a tape measure to ensure accuracy and precision in work.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • The ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas industry, especially with swellable packers, is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, metallurgy, and sometimes electronics.
