  • Patient Care: Assess patients, take vital signs, administer medications, and monitor patient reactions to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Documentation and Communication: Accurately document patient medical history, current condition, and treatment, while effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Discharge and Follow-up: Handle discharge paperwork, explain treatment plans to patients and families, and coordinate follow-up care to ensure a smooth transition.

Requirements:

  • Valid CA State Registered Nurse License
  • 2+ years' experience in an emergency medical facility
  • CPR certification required
  • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred, but not required
  • TNCC certification preferred, but not required
