Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Ensure the good working order of equipment and instruments.
- Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Pass instruments to the physician during surgery.
- Continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
- Receive and process specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
- 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
